In recent years I have painted and exhibited at Kylesku in N W Scottish Highlands.
Also in North Devon, on the Lee Abbey Estate.
For 20 years I concentrated on Dartmoor, with an exhibition at Brentor, and culminating in an exhibition at the National Park centre in Princetown in 2009.
These tiny ponies arrived on a track on Dartmoor someway south of Okehampton, snuck round the side and ate my lunch from the side door of the van I’d left open. Plus a bag of plums.
This painting, studio finished, is now hanging in London Kindred, in a large permanent collection there. wearekindred.com
My book, Dartmoor Paintings in Oils dates from the Dartmoor National Park Exhibition, and was a catalogue of painting throughout a year in all winds and weathers at the time.

Time and Space Gallery on Combe Down 2008-2010, was an attempt to show works of people like myself that were often juggling bringing up children, and running a home, with producing just a few works per annum, and needing an outlet with no obligatory output, and a low commission rate. It gave SPACE partly in exchange for TIME looking after the gallery. It suited more people than I thought, and we managed to break even, turning a marginal profit, as long as we weren’t tempted to advertise in expensive magazines!
